Throughout my life I have had great experiences with professional Health Care workers.
Married one, great.
Military Medical Drs. have always gotten a bad Rep.
In Boot camp I saw a Dentist that was Filipino. Filled a half dozen teeth. For twenty years after I left the military service, when I went to a Dentist, the assistant would cal the Dentist to come an see my Fillings. I don't know what was so special, but at age 80 I still have most of them.
I can only remember one Dr that I visited that I absolutely would not go back to see. I have chronic sinus problems and have had Polyps removed several times. The surgeon did the surgery, then later removed the packing, as if I was insensitive to pain. Then he poured the pain killer down my nose and it went into my throat. I was concerned it would affect the sensitivity of my throat and I might choke on my way home.
While waiting, I listened to him attending a lady patient in the next room. He chewed out his nurse, unmercifully in front of the patient. The Lady patient got off the table and told him she was leaving. He asked why? She said, I am not going to listen to you berate your nurse.
If he abuses his nurse, no telling what he does to patients when they are unconscious.

My initial opinion is that people who put spaces between sentences and their punctuation are annoying as frick !!

he then went and judged me for being on XANAX and said that he would not fill my meds and if i wanted i could go see a Physiatrist ..
He wanted her to start working out in a safe manner to cure her depression?
But kidding aside, he dodged a bullet. Patient wants to be made happy. Not told how to be healthy.

You don’t need to be fasting for this test.
Uncontrolled diabetic patient.

You really don't need to be fasting for an LDL or HDL either, and you really shouldn't treat triglcyerides (which do vary significantly with fasting/nonfasting states) if they're not upwards of 4x the upper limit of normal (on my assay), so you've basically got a misinformed patient attempting to dictate care.

Where ya from? I may know someone who can help.
I have a friend who went to Med School in the Bahamas in one of those 6 month fast track programs. He is 48, weighs about 380 pounds. A friend I sent his way, said he chain smoked 3 Marlboros during the exam and only had to stop twice to hack up a bit of his left lung.
If he hasn't been busted he will write you a script for whatever you want. Costs a little extra for the good stuff. He always has room for another patient or two, cause he gots Condo payments in Key West just like you do.
Only negative I ever heard is he asked to do a digital prosate exam on the friend's wife and asked if he could film it.
Sounds a tad suspicious but he claims the physican's oath they made you learn in the school (correspondence) he graduated from was, "First and formost, have some fun."
His name is Carlos DeJesus, MD. His office in in the back of that big Lowes truckstop on I-75, close to the TN, Georgia line. I think he also sees special needs patients over the phone (Skype).
As far as I know, he has no rating system in place and only sees patients sent by refferal.

Yeah but me not wanting to put an experimental drug in my body for a virus with a 99.98% survival rate is the issue.

I mean obviously telling people to do their jobs properly or telling this woman to stop smoking is seen as abuse these days.

The patient sounds fat.
Nah. I'm fat and the doctor would have 100% mentioned the fat part. I could go to the doctor with a stab wound and the doc would blame my weight. He'd probably say that if my gut wasn't so big, the knife would have missed me.

Nah- that chick is 260 if she's a pound. Smokes and takes Xanax. She is a frequent WalMart customer. Probably in pajamas.

I can’t say that I’ve ever encountered any rude physicians. They are typically friendly.
Neurosurgeons are supposed to be scum of the earth.
