And so on. Voters clearly rejected these candidates because of their association with Trump. This was as more normal GOP candidates in the same states did markedly better. Heck, J.D. Vance only won by 6 points while Mike DeWine won by 25

You’re forgetting the dozens of House races in R+30 districts where Trump boldly proclaimed that the GOP nominee would win.

In the contests the NBC News Decision Desk is projecting, 195 Trump-backed candidates have won their races, 30 have lost, six are in races not yet called and two are headed to runoffs
