I'm looking for a good place with frog legs to take my grandson who wants to try them. Please advise.

Take a drive to Herbsaint in NOLA. Best I've ever eaten.

The Gregory downtown has great frog legs.

Thanks for the recommendations. I just found out that Duke's Seafood in Denham Springs serves them blackened or fried.

still not worth a trip. Definitely go there if you are already in NOLA, but I wouldn't make a special trip anywhere for a frog leg.

If they are really that great, I suspect they only serve them when they can get the big ones fresh, which would be in the warmer months.

Saw a tv ad that New Orleans Hamburger and Seafood now serves them.
Don’t know how good they are. I do like frog legs so I’ll try them next time I’m there.
Just noticed you asked in Baton Rouge, don’t know of any NOHS in Baton Rouge.

Not saying they're the best, but my son (who is super-picky) once tried the frog legs at Grand Wall buffet in Gonzales (yeah, I know) and now that's all he gets there... a whole damn plate. They have a simple, straightforward S&P seasoning that he likes.

Not trying to be a smart arse but Rouse’s sells them if you prefer to fry them yourself.

middendorfs has outstanding frog legs

I've gotten it at Rouses hot bar for lunch. It was good.
Central Buffet has frog legs too. Its been awhile since I've been but overall their dinner buffet is solid.

Man I love frog legs…usually catch ‘em myself though.
Agree with you on Rouses.
I was just picking up a few things and saw them on the hot bar.
They were fantastic!
On a somewhat related note (it ended up in my to-go plate)their crawfish cornbread is stupid good too.

For a crappy Chinese buffet, their frog legs are actually quite good and worth the price of the dinner buffet on their own.
Another option is Hot Tails in Prairieville. They have solid fried food all the way around.

Thanks for the recommendations. I took Bigfish's information and went to Grand Wall Chinese buffet in Gonzalez, and it was a big success. The fried frog legs were really good and almost worth the price of the buffet. The rest of the buffet offers a lot of choice but is average at best.
Bottom line is that my 9 year old grandson really enjoyed the frog legs and is interested in going back. Thanks again.

I was the one who recommended Grand Wall

My bad! After further review, you are right and the credit goes to McCauley. Thanks again.
