Stolen from the Saints board, but considering the shared facilities this is probably relevant to the Pels.

Damn
Seems like they are a model franchise in virtually every other way.
Honestly, I bet ownership takes this to heart and does something about it.

I'm curious what the criteria was. Did they just not like the food or were there not enough options? We know the Pels regularly make the rookies bring enough Canes for everyone on the plane. The nutrition standards for a bunch of under 25 athletes don't seem to be too high.

Some franchises have brand new facilities that are just dedicated to Nutrition/Food with chefs and nutritionists on sight, etc.
Its possible the Pels/Saints food/nutrition center is just extremely outdated

Zion borrowed Michael Thomas' login and voted 500 times because portions are too small.

Utah Jazz apparently have an on-site Executive chef that mans a full-time kitchen and a team of nutritionists that supply meals for the team that supposedly people there say rivals any fine dining restaurant in Salt Lake.

Considering NOLA's culinary reputation and the fact that there are two professional teams in the same facility, doing something like that with a brand new nutrition facility seems like a wise investment.

Apparently, Loomis brought in some national company to handle the food operations. It’s been downhill ever since.

but considering the shared facilities
Facilities have not been shared for years, the Pels have their own facilities and the Saints have their own.

They don't share dining facilities? I know in the past they've highlighted players from both teams eating there.

Not that I'm aware of or see anywhere. I know they used to share weight rooms and all facilities until the Pels facilities were built where they had their own rooms.

It's all the same despite different buildings. Go look at the Pelicans front office and I bet you will see the same people as Saints. Start with Gayle, and Dennis.

Never forget Lance Thomas bought fans free fries back in the Dell Demps days

I mean, I’ve been there.
What I mean by “shared” is on the same campus. Not that the pelicans are playing basketball on the football field.

Yeah, I would assume its safe to think that the owner of both teams is listed on both teams as owner…
