It’s pathetic on both sides of the ball. But the locker room is clearly fricked too

He takes too long to adjust his system and is incapable of on the fly movements.

Seems like coaches has figured out his game plan. Guy is too stubborn to change it.

His rotations are very questionable! Hernangomezshould be seeing more playing time!

Your 100% right…Willy wants to play .5 basketball, but he is clearly too stupid to realize that the players he is putting on the court cannot play that way.

Apparently Willy thought the fix for poor shooting and getting killed inside was to take JV out and put Jax in at the 5…that literally does nothing for what is killing the Pels…it might actually make it worse.

What a moron.

He tried them tonight. It's not going very well. I don't think it matters what personnel changes he makes, the offense is shot.

Assuming no playoffs, is he on the hot seat next season? With this apathetic organization, I doubt it.

We’re 7-20 in our last 27. Literally one of the worst teams in the league

He started to rely on Richardson in favor of Trey pretty fricking fast. He was the opposite of Willie in that scenario.

It’s only shot because Willy refuses to play a roster that has a chance to run it.

CJ, BI, Josh, Trey, and any of our 5s can play fast/.5 in a 4out scheme like Willy wants to use. Swapping Herb, Naji, Jose, Dyson* (unless they are hot) makes it start to break because a defender can freelance in the lane. (And I do wonder what he is doing with Kira since he has shot great in his limited minutes?)

The ISO ball is just a response to the players knowing the open guys aren’t making shots...and it’s probably a reasonable response at that, unfortunately one that is inefficient and leads to poor scoring.

*Really the scheme shouldn’t work as well with Zion either, but he is a cheat code that can score even when the defense is compressed.

Yeah the fact the team is so lethargic and adjustments still aren’t being made is troubling.

They’re not going to fire him, though. Not yet

Detroit has the second worst record in the league and they’re 7-20 in their last 27, just for context.

How sad is it, that even with Lebron out for several weeks, I still think they likely finish with a better record than we do?

How did it get this bad? We were the #1 seed thru 20 games and now were a bottom 5 team.

Trey has been non-existent.

Jose isn't worth his minutes if he's not shooting well and he hasn't shot well in months.

Herb has been disappointing all season.

JV had 8/5 tonight. That should NEVER happen in a game where Zion doesn't play.

I just don't see how we fix this without big changes this off-season.

Pelicans will get worse by the end of the season not better, so Willie's seat should be red fricking hot, but doubt that it will be.
