If Ole Miss hires Will Wade, it sets a precedent

That there are no more repercussions for hiring recently fired/disgraced “toxic” coaches. And that would mean Woody should fire MM and go get Chris Beard.

Woodward gave McMahon guaranteed money with a monster buyout. You think someone's going to foot that bill when no one would even step up to help Wade pay players? He was having to use his own money. How fricked up is that? You think Coach K and Self and Calipari were taking money from their own salaries for paying players without outside pockets covering those tabs? Absolutely not.
I've begrudgingly come to accept the fact that LSU admin and bigwigs could give a shite less about LSU MBB. It's pathetic and sad.

Bottom line is if Ole Miss hires Wade it removes all doubt that Woodward fricked up by firing him.

His biggest frick up was hiring McMahon. That had disaster written all over it from the start. He should have thrown the bank (since that’s all he is good at) to Scott Drew Tony Bennett or Jamie Dixon

While I do not dissagree with you. LSU did just fire Wade, had NCAA sanctions looming, and the whole damn exsisting roster opting out………I mean no one wanted that job right then much less those names. I was completely surprised we got CMM at the time. I still think CMM could turn out to be a very good coach………but he needs talent or he is gonna get skulldragged like this every year. He has to beef up the roster quite a bit.

Bennett could have been hired easily and on the cheap.
Alleva responsible for Johnson, Jones, Fargas, Orgeron and Aramark. (Nunez was responsible for Wade)
