Why do we have a club baseball team when we have a real baseball team? Makes sense for sports like Rugby, hockey, and lacrosse since there is no actual team

Probably because there are enough students who want to play baseball but aren’t good enough to make the real team.

Because not everyone who grows up loving baseball and goes to LSU is named Crews or Skenes.
I think it’s awesome we have club baseball team and happy to hear about their success.

For real student athletes. Believe it or not, THIS is the real thing, and the LSU baseball we follow is part of a weird sports industry that has grown out of, and apart from, American universities.
