I think the Ron DeSantis push is staged.

Many, even on this board, have all of a sudden started dickriding this guy and acting as though Trump has no shot. Newsflash....nobody has a shot if the Repubs don't start playing the same game the Dems are playing. Trump draws hundreds of thousands to rallies. He has the pulse of the country. I think many on this board are paid trolls or counter ops to try to plant seeds of doubt into the Trump campaign. Seriously...give me my tinfoil hat..... No other explanation for the "discouragement" campaign on this board. Playing the people like a fiddle.

What about the only red wave in any elections of 2022, 2020 and 2018? What state had it?

How soon you forget what this board was like leading up to 2016 election cycle. Jjdoc was running around crying about the loss of Obama, cpt Bengal was calling everyone a stupid bitch arse pussy, and HHTM was fantasizing about sucking Rubio off.
The rest of us were pushing an inexperienced candidate with beautiful hair, majestically making his way down a vibrantly colored gold escalator.

Folks on both sides (Team Trump & Team DeSantis) need to stop thinking they’re going to change minds on message boards and in the comment sections of social media.

People need to realize that we must push the issue. They REMOVED Trump against the will of the people. We need to make them do it again and show how corrupt our country has become. We have to shine the light on it. This is the way.

Because all he does is win. He lets his actions do the talking as opposed to running his mouth and losing elections.
He also won't alienate 5.5 million people who voted for at least 1 down-ballot Republican in 2016 and 2020 but not at the top of the ticket for President. He does well with independents and the wine and soccer moms who live in the suburbs. The same people who voted Youngkin and Kemp into office and crawled over broken glass to vote against Trump in 2016 and 2020.

The Leadership of GOP is trying to use him to try to take out Trump. They want him to jump in and they hope the Primary gets messy. They want to time Trump out and damage Desantis at the same time. I think Desantis is going to sit this out though which would be the smart thing to do.

Trump left the Republican party with more members in the House of Representatives than any Republican president since 1920-something.
