One take on this is that the conspirators are putting it all out there for all to see, but why is that the better explanation than the culture industry just commodifying conspiracy culture like they do with all sorts of other cultural taboos?

Perry grew up in a Christian home and I think her dad was/is a pastor. She also sang in the church choir.
Somewhere along the way, she was convinced fame was more important than her soul.

Ok, there are a few Satanists in the world. But there is a massive culture-industry that is constantly producing culture that commodifies and makes a pastiches of all sorts of cultures. This looks more like schlock than legit Satanism.

No it's purposeful. It's a meme from at least the 1600s to today, last see with the Satanic Panic (but it's being revived with Q-type conspiracy theories)
If you want, you can use "Theistic Satanism' interchangeably with Occult Satanism. It's the same thing (and different than Occult/Magik groups and the Church of Satan/Satanic Temple duo)
