My issue with Graham is that he just misses too much. I could live with his d since he hustles but the dude just is not a good enough shooter. 34 percent for a specialist sucks.

I get what you're saying, but despite his shooting %, he is still demanding attention from his defender and pulling him away from the lane for the most part, and that role is very helpful WHEN ZION IS PLAYING.
Mirotic was 35% in 3 years for us, yet someone was in his jock strap at all times.

and you have to remember it's not like he's a pivotal player on the team. When everyone is healthy he's playign 10 minutes a game if at all, and that can vary depending on if he's hot or not.

Well he's shooting 46% on wide open 3's this year. Only 34% of his shots are wide open. You can look at that and say well he needs to take more wide open shots, or you can say well maybe his defenders simply aren't leaving him wide arse open too often. DG isn't someone who just sits in the corner and waits for a pass. He's running around screens all the time on offense, and that causes confusion for the defense, and all of this is a positive WHEN ZION PLAYS.

And i'll say it again, i have no problem trading DG, but we have to get back a guy that can provide that type of spacing either right now or in the offseason. Doug McDermott.

DG/Jax/Kira to Spurs/Pistons, McDermott and Burks to Pels. Don't even need to trade a 1st for that to happen, although i'd be fine with it if they gave us back one of their 2nds this year.

I'd be curious to see the wide open stats of other guys that perform a similar role.

Beasley, Kennard, Lee, Niang, Struss, Allen, Harris, etc.

While true, we gave up a 1st rounder for him, so that is part of what makes it a disappointment.

Based on the acquisition cost, there's an expectation for him to produce but he hasn't done so on the level we expected.
