I strongly agree, but also realize that a large subset of America has basically already dispensed with any personal notion of law and are already using that right to "take care of themselves". Every gangbanger whacked on a street corner Friday night kicks off a months long revenge cycle of killing that, if not for the intervention of law enforcement, would escalate into small-scale war. We're already seeing some of this develop in the metros who HAVE taken steps to reduce and defund their police.

I mean, go down to academy and be put on a delay for a month.
Other states have waiting periods, so I guess get killed while you wait to purchase a fire arm.
