Anyone have a good recommendation for a place to spend 4-5 days anywhere in Europe during this season? I'll be returning home from a business trip and my wife (no pics) will be with me. I've spent time in Paris and Barcelona, so somewhere besides that. TIA.

Also Amsterdam.

Big international airport with tons of flights, and you really only need 3-4 days for it, can do side trips to towns in the Netherlands or to see the tulips depending on timing. Beautiful city.

Venice

If you have time , go to Florence for a day or two, then tale the train to Venice.

We just had a spectacular trip in November. Based in Bayeaux and toured the Normandy Coast for close to a week.

Or, my vote would be to go to Slovenia. Base in Kobarid and tour the Alps, WW1 Battlefields. That time of year you could probably go rafting on the Soca River.
