Legally it's an almost impossible rout to take. Read the lawfare link I provided in the OP. The legal path is impeachment by the house and conviction and removal by the senate. But the DOJ has to dirty him up in order for the house to take up the case. This is what you are seeing right now. I'm just saying, I don't want the house to fall for the trap. It takes attention from where it is needed, permanent Washington.

A D.C. Grand Jury to indict a Dem POTUS (sitting or not), file this under never going to happen.

I agree 100%. If House Republicans are smart, they will give the DNC the middle finger and say, "Nope. YOU put him here, YOU deal with it. We're not doing your dirty work." I think Dems are overplaying their hand since Reps took a slim margin in the House.
