This is not me being a jerk, but I can probably only name 5 ever.

The top 3 are pretty easy

She used to play pick up games with the men at the old LSU fieldhouse back in the 80s. Made a lot of guys look like fools. I think she was actually on a Harlem Globetrotters team for a while.

Probably not debatable, but Julie Gross from 1976-80 has to be included also. 2nd in points and 3rd in rebounds.
Honorable mention to Pokey Chatman, Marie Ferdinand, Cornelia Gayden, and Khayla Pointer. Pointer finished 6th in points, 2nd in assists, 21st in rebounds, and 6th in steals. I know she got a few extra games because of Covid year--but she also didn't play a ton her freshman year, so I kinda think it equalled out.

Would add Temeka Johnson to LSU grads' honorable mentions

It was almost a Coin Toss between the 2 Aussis and although Jackson only played 2 Years , one was a Runner-up for a National Championship and the other was a fantastic season that ended early.

The only 3 that matter. Angel when shes done after 3 years here will most likely be on the list but as of right now its those 3 then everyone else.

I used to play pick-up games with Joyce Walker in the old Gym Armory back in 1980. She made a fool out of me on a regular basis. She was so quick, and her midrange jumpers never missed. Most of us guys had played high school basketball, but she was always the best player on the court. She was very cool about it. She just loved to play.

Gonna be a shake up in the coming year.

Playing against Joyce in Field House in 80-81. Beat my man to the basket, she played help D; I gave her a pump-fake and saw two knees at my eye level.
Kicked it back out.
Kicked it back out.

You have to include Temeka Johnson.
She's the all time assist leader at LSU with 945 in her career (8th in Div.1 history). She was the national point guard of the year her final season at LSU.
Side note- after being the head coach at John Curtis the past two year (w/2 state titles), I just noticed she got her first college assistant coaching job at Western Kentucky.

That's a shame. You've missed some outstanding basketball players as well as a whole lot of fun times. Going to five consecutive Final Fours with a bunch of great Tiger fans was a blast. Closing down an Irish Pub in Boston with the longest "last call" in the pub's history (the historic Dooley's) was fantastic! Sorry you missed it.

Can't forget Maree Jackson!

Joyce Walker was unbelievable and I would say every bit the athlete of Augustus. Ask people that saw her play and those that played against her.
The best besides these 2 was Jackie White who only played a year and got homesick to return to California as I recall. She was as good with the ball as all of them.
