That was really embarrassing for the NFL
But the public tantrum by Saints fans after was even more embarrassing. Lawsuits, saying the game should restart, etc
This.

The Minneapolis Miracle was our equivalent to the Ray Allen shot. 2018 was our redemption year and it was stolen from us.
This. The Saints could win the SB next year ( ) and it wouldn't make me feel any better about 2018. Like not even a little bit. Feels like 2 different lifetimes.

We haven’t recovered since that happened.

I remember an interference that was similarly egregious in the 3rd maybe 4th quarter of that game. A rams CB came up and made contact with the Saints WR extremely early before the ball got there. It left me screaming at the television and that's when I knew something wasn't right. Also the hands to the face on Drew in ot and the hold on thomas the same play. Frick the NFL and their shitty product

The single biggest reason I quit watching NFL

Yep, took me 2 hours to quit laughing when I read this message board on that day.

Or, as I like to call it,
"The day millions of NFL fans got their wake up call".
Hopefully fans of the SEC got their wake up long before then.
"It's all real to me, dammit!!"

Easily the worst loss in Saints history. Cost us more than just a Super Bowl trip.
Just the way it works. Actually, the Vikings were due a little payback. Drew Pearson of the Cowboys blatantly pushed off for a last-second TD win that was labeled the very first "Hail Mary" in the NFL.

My grandfather is blind and saw the PI on the TV.

You have any other explanation for what is likely the most egregious missed call in the history of the sport?

Counter-point: If you’re not a Saints fan, the entire ordeal and the aftermath on this board were hysterical.
Yep.
I don't care at all except to watch Saints fans cry.

It’s sucks it happened to us but how any football fan can find joy in something so inept is beyond me.
