Man I'll never route for a young man to fail but i hope this sets a trend of how to not handle this kind of situation in the future. Along with now 3rd string again Walker Howard...

Good for you young man. Now when LSU lines up to take the field against you, I hope you get several pads under your chin.

It would probably came off as more genuine if he hadn’t just left to go to one of our division rivals.

Meh, just like Baby Howard, he left after his freshman semester, but unlike Howard, he was in line to be a big contributor in 2023.

I blame the parents in both of these situations. They enabled kids to make bad decisions.

It's like cheating on your significant other and then thanking them for the time you had together.

Ok, glad you liked it, but have a good life.

We’ll have to learn to be respectful in these situations as they will surely happen time and time again.

Why tf do I need to be respectful to someone that LEAVES LSU?

I really dont care for this especially when they going to be lining up across the field from LSU for the next few seasons. Like working with a guy at the same company then him leaving for a rival company. Then saying thanks i learned everything from you and the company and now i'm going to try and take that customer from you with my new company. Save it guy you bailed

Nah...this is more like, "thanks for giving me an entry level position. I know you said the plan was for me to advance, but I'm not getting enough training. This other company will give me a better opportunity for advancement and pay more.".

Maybe Tolan is just not burning any bridges.

If you go somewhere else in the SEC West, it’s burned. He wouldn’t be welcomed back here again after leaving once.

Tolan was already getting PT as a true freshman and was in line for a lot more next year, so your statement isn’t even close.

Do you also blame the parents of Omar Speights, Aaron Anderson and Denver Harris?

Apples and oranges comparisons, Sport.

Omar spent 4 years at OSU. What else did he need to prove there?

Harris was basically run off from A$M and was looking for a fresh start.

Anderson is returning home to the school he was originally committed to.
