Somewhere the General is regretting losing millions of dollars in salary.

Thanks Slick Wily for that clarification. Now you can STFU…
When you're beat it's even more important to to shut the frick up. A smart man would but you will not.

It’s not a competition between LSU fans, so there is no one getting “beat”. I’m an LSU fan and presumably you are as well. Losing games sucks, at any sport. Losing on national TV sucks too. It is what it is.

McMahon is in a year 0. Total rebuild. Have patience, if he gets it going, that’s great. If not, you move on.
What the hell are you talking about. He inherited a top 100 SG and F with 2 years starting experience in the SEC. He then brought 3 seniors with him from a team that played in the round of 32.
There’s no such thing as a “complete rebuild” in the portal era. Turning over 6-9 players is the norm. Hell, Arkansas turned over 10 players from last year.
The team has regressed. His starting PG - who came with him - left the program and he has clearly lost the locker room full of experienced players. It’s not losing, it’s a program that is a dumpster fire.
This isn’t 10 years ago, there are no more multi year rebuilds.
Even if you wanted to play the rebuild card, where is it getting better next year. He’s not setting the world on fire on the recruiting trail.

That’s short sighted. It’s about establishing his program and his culture, from his top assistant down to the water boy, this was a total gut job. It takes time. It’s a new level and new environment for McMahon and many of those players, support staff, and organization.
If he can’t figure it out, his contract isn’t prohibitive.

The General can suck a dick! He's the reason we suck!

He’s actually not. Spoke w him last week. Zero animosity towards the university. Embarrassed about result but not outright angry and wishing bad on the program He and CMM were friends and still speak occasionally.

His culture? Hell, he brought his own senior leaders him who had been with him for years. That’s bullshite. One of his “guys” just quit the program after being with McMahon for 4 years.
The reality is Woody hired a cheap coach and we see why. He’s in over his head.
If his teams were playing hard, and just simply coming up short, that might be one thing. His team has quit on him. And it is not a team full of young players, there is a ton of older, experienced players on this roster, who have played in a very hot level. This is extremely concerning.

Yea man, culture and alignment and all that shite. It’s sometimes ambiguous but it’s real.
Sometimes you can plug and play from a lower level, sometimes you can’t. It takes time to establish what you want to do then reevaluate and adjust. Let’s hope whether he can or can’t is determined quickly.

Yeah LSU fans love feeling kicked around. A winner is not supported for long.

You’re missing the point, he brought 3 seniors that were part of his “culture” for the last several years.
Most new coaches don’t get to bring the 3 senior leaders with them.
The culture argument doesn’t carry much weight when you get to bring your culture guys with you.
He’s in over his head and it isn’t getting better, he’s getting his arse handed to him on the recruiting trail as well.

If he’s smiling, that means he’s happy that LSU lost.
That’s not who I want running the program.

It's threads like these where I wonder if some people are more Will Wade fans than LSU fans

Is John Brady gonna wind up the biggest net positive in LSUBB history?

Still Dale Brown.

You’re missing my point that it’s more than just a few player, it’s the whole organization. Who is left the previous regime, Tasmin only right?
We’ll find out, hopefully sooner rather than later.
