Lutherans are the wokest.

Good Shepherd Lutheran in Fayetteville has a trans-ministry, where they support trans teens, etc. Provide at least binders for biological females who wish to present as male.

The Transition Closet

They have trans-identifying people in their worship choir.

Pretty low attendance these days, though.

They also host Queer Camp

What we see in the OP is really just part of larger, unfortunate cultural movement within the Christian religion.

I call them post-modern Christians.

People who believe that the cornerstone of the Christian religion is not self-denial and self-sacrifice, but in not judging others.

The result is that their image of the ideal Christian is basically just someone who is really agreeable and pleasant, and doesn't make anyone feel bad about anything. For those keeping track, this isn't exactly the portrayal we have of Jesus Christ who overturned the moneychangers tables, chastised the scribes and Pharisees, and told the adulterous woman to "go and sin no more."

Now, it's true that we've been instructed not to judge others, but we've either forgotten - or purposely misconstrued - what "judging" means in the context of scripture.

Judging =/= Counseling
Judging =/= Disagreement
Judging =/= Condemnation of behavior (i.e. love the sinner, hate the sin)

I heard a great analogy yesterday on the radio regarding whether or not trans should be treated as a mental health issue. A guy said, “If you’re dealing with a young lady with anorexia, do you tell them that they really are fat and that they should get a gastric bypass to lose weight? Because that’s essentially what they’re doing to trans people.”

This might be true. The books of the Bible are very old and have gone through revisions over the centuries. The 10 Commandments could have edited. Perhaps it included:

The 11th Commandment: 'Thou shalt not be Transphobic.'

I don't think we were instructed not to judge at all. I think we were warned not to outwardly judge unless we were ready to be judged ourselves. When we point out others' faults, they usually return the favor.

There are a number of verses telling us to judge, etc. People latch onto "Judge not" because that gives them a sword if they're non-Christians and a shield if they're weak Christians. As in most Bible verses, context is crucial.

I'm scared of them the way I'm scared of a skunk, and for the same reasons.

Normalizing and accommodating this behavior is literally no different, and no less dangerous, than people agreeing with an anorexic girl that she's too fat.

Indeed, that's usually where I go next. We entertain these delusions by agreeing with a "trans woman" that "she" is, and where do you draw the line?

Are we supposed to acknowledge the auditory/visual hallucinations of schizophrenics?

Should we refer to anorexics as "Hey fatass!"?

As far as "judge not" is concerned, Jesus is saying we should not judge as a means of keeping people away from God. That is what the Jews of his day did.

Leprosy was considered God's punishment for sin, so they banished lepers from the temple and society.

We are to judge as a way to help people recognize their sin, admit to it and seek salvation through repentance and forgiveness.

I have no issue with any of the alphabet people, but unless they repent and ask forgiveness, they cannot be in church leadership for they lack the moral authority to lead.

I would not want a pastor who cheats on his wife or steals from the church any more than I'd want an unrepentant homosexual or other alphabet person.

I'm not condemning anyone to hell, I'm just saying they're insane and not healthy.

Which is true.

This is apostasy, and seems to recall the Lutheran priest Brand's peroration in Act V of Henrik Ibsen's play Brand:

"He states here that "the spirit of compromise", a mentality he struggles to get free from all the way, is none other than Satan."

It's becoming more evident as time goes by, that the function of the church today is to conform to the world and its perversions, rather than transform souls into something suggesting godliness.

The Evangelical Lutheran Church of America is “considered one of the most inclusive and welcoming” Lutheran denominations toward the LGBTQ community, according to the Human Rights Campaign. I wonder what Dr. Marty Luther would have to say about these retards who have infested his denomination:

With all your cleverness you are nothing but devil's fools.

ETA: here's one for the Trannies in Lutheran churches:

It's pretty weird. American orthodox Christians should expect to be on the fringe for the first time in their lifetimes in the coming years.

I am having a hard time following though for a few reasons.

First I have to believe that the percentage of trannies is remarkably low and if I was going to that church and the pastor made that comment I would stop going .

Who puts money in the collection plate that allows for payment of the expenses and the salaries of the minister

I guess if enough people go and empty their wallet then it's fine
