The internet used up too much of their outrage on the Hamlin incident to care I guess. Plus it's the playoffs so play ball!!

Nice contrasting moments and reactions just days apart.

Or the fact they had to resuscitate Damar Hamlin on the field might’ve had something to do with the public’s infatuation with the situation.

Nobody really cared that Peyton Hillis (GOAT Madden cover) almost died being a hero

I’m really confused why the Bills got a de facto win in that Bengals game and are now the 2 seed.

Shouldn’t Tampa also be able to contest the end of the game since their player got seriously injured?

It was the exact same situation as both teams were getting their arse kicked.

There were three minutes left and TB was down 31-6

Meanwhile there was still the whole game left when Hamlin was injured

Yes they did. It was all over my twitter feed, multiple players, ex players, and general people in the football business were offering prayers and kind words to Hillis.

The post butthurt over the Hamlin incident is just bizarre. He was clinically dead on the field. It's kind of a big deal.

Leave it the MSB to make the dude who dropped dead on the field an attention-whore.

I mean, the Bengals were on pace to be up 14-3, 12 minutes into the game.

Which is a 70-15 full game pace. Perhaps adjusted down to 63-18, since Buffalo would have gotten the ball first in the 2nd half.

Bengals were also the home team and Buffalo had copious injuries. Yet, every rule to nfl created assumed Buffalo could have won a road game they were losing (stopped due to their injury) and none of them assumed Cincy could have won a home game they were winning.

That was the inequity with the solutions that were provided. They covered the less likely side of outcomes (Bills comeback road victory) vs the outcome that was on pace and more likely to happen (Bengals maintain home lead)

If he hadn’t played at LSU - you wouldn’t care enough to post about it.
