Who’s the best TE in this class?

Just watching some film on each and my first thought is Markway is the most well rounded coming in, with Pimpton being a match up nightmare in the passing game.
Just curious if there are any TE gurus out there that could weigh in. Is there a kid in this class that could out produce vs Taylor last year?

I think Markway is the most developed blocker so you may see him more in game than the other two. However, I do expect Pimp to have some red zone packages to compliment his ridiculous catch radius.

Pimp has the most potential

Markway: Highest Floor
Pimpton: Highest ceiling

What’s great about it is we will see someone emerge between the three.
Brune says McGohan is his favorite.
Dixon like Pimpton.
Others like Markway.
Hopefully someone adapts and is able to be the blocker/catcher that Kelly wants.
It’s really fun to watch a Two TE system. There are so many options off the same formations.
We really didn’t see a lot of those inside tosses to the TE.
I remember plenty of teams doing it but the two that stick out are the 49ers recently and An old eclxample is Shane Matthews inside shovel to te at Fla.
More options off the same formation keeps it simple while making the defense stay in lanes. Combine that with a mobile quarterback and it’s hard to defend.

They all offer different skill sets. Markway looks like a TE that would play for the steelers in the early 2000's. Pimpton is the newage big WR. Galloway is right in the middle of both.

But he’s a year out.
Are you suggesting McGohan?

I love em both, TE future is bright as long as we can keep ‘em around, Lol

Markway appears to be the blocker but we don't really know considering he hasn't played in over a year. Taken based on what he looked like 2 seasons ago so we don't really know what he is
The Ohio kid seems to be a nice mix of an inline/split wide TE. Versatility is the name of his game.
Pimpton is the upside star. Insane athletic ability and catch radius. Can be a matchup nightmare. Highest ceiling, lowest floor guy. Boom or bust

McGohan needs more love
He’s got some speed to him the other two don’t have

I agree with this.

Imagine Taylor and Pimpton in the redzone

I wonder if they flirt with moving Markway to defense. I like em all but 3 is overkill, just feels like something else is planned here.

We have 1 TE on the team before these guys got here. Even the walk ons are all gone mostly...Mashburn, Storz, Frazier.
We need to find a TE in the portal really bad.

How is 3 overkill when we only have 2 back from last year in Taylor and Mashburn? If we run an offense like Georgia with their awesome TE's and those boys are steady running routes downfield, blocking, etc. then they will need some relief. 5-6 TE is what we need on the roster at all times. Run routes constantly and rotate so ALL are happy, all are playing, so nobody transfers in this College Free Agency Crap!!

and Mashburn?
Mashburn is done, medical retirement today
We only have 1 returning TE who played any last year.
