Louisiana likes to focus on being highly rank at negative things and is the #2 ranked state in regards to having the lowest point of elevation. New Orleans being partly below sea level is good for something, and though it’s more likely to fill with water with just the right combination of events and drainage an area around Bayou Corn might someday help the state become #1. To stay #1 for the long term they will probably need the help of the Army Corps of Engineers.

We actually edge out Delaware’s as well as Florida’s
Delaware’s ain’t really discernible at all.
There’s a few like that in some of the plains states, but they are all at much higher actual elevations.
