Are we moving away from statues of people since so many statues of people are being torn down?

It's way better than the usual copper and lead mini sculptures that fly around constantly on all MLK streets around the country.

Is there an angle you are supposed to look at this sculpture? It looks bad in every photo I’ve seen.

It looks like hands holding a giant turd or dong. That is a terrible sculpture.

Maybe it will grow on us. (No Viagra reference intended.)
My initial thoughts when seeing the image of it were, a large eye of round roast, that the sculptor was a Henry Moore not-a-be, or a memory of my younger self.
Sculpture does not always translate or emote without seeing it in person and walking around it, the Flamingo , or under or through if possible.
The same with paintings. Just do not go though it.
