There have been a lot of threads and posts insinuating that McMahon has improved our offense…I guess because there’s less designed isolation? But comparing Wade’s first offense to McMahon’s first offense- there’s no comparison.

33rd for Wade
99th for McMahon (before tonight’s abomination)

This ain’t good baws. This ain’t good.

We run some nice stuff to get our “shooters” open and MM can draw up some nice ATOs. It’s all about players. No Smarts or Cams on this team

This team misses a metric ton of wide open shots. The offense isn't the problem. It's the people putting up the shots.

If the talent of Wades players were running this offense they were a top four NCAA tournament ssed every year

Wade had the talent cause he apparently bought it. Mac can outcoach Wade all day.

I wonder if the players might have something to do with that?

I hear ya (especially on the ATOs)

But aren’t you a little concerned that some of our main guys like Miller and Hill have regressed? I guess Miller has his injury (I do think that’s a little overblown for his offense), but what is the excuse for Hill? Coaching doesn’t just take place during the games.

I agree with S, we don’t have the players. We have open shots, we just don’t make them.

Of course, recruiting and transfer portaling also falls on the head coach.

Miller is just hot and cold right now and would look better on a better team with better players around him. Hill is terrible. I have no words.

At least Miller is confident and makes teams take him seriously behind the arc

Seems like nobody else besides KJ wants to shoot

Hill is probably the step in competition. Mcmahon coached him at both places so i don't get your point.

This is just stupid. Miller and Williams are talented enough to put up points. We’re not putting them in position to succeed.

We made 8 2-point FG’s against A&M. That is poor coaching.

Miller has yet to live up to expectations...hasn't shot well all year.

McMahon could take his pick of players off of every Wade roster to make one and he still wouldn’t sniff an SEC title

The offense didn't get nearly as many open shots today. They didn't seem to be running much of an offense.

Harsh to say but this is who Miller is

He didn't shoot much differently at Illinois. People ran with Wades comments about him and got ahead of themselves. Miller certainly has his moments where he does good stuff but he is lazy defensively and doesn't do well against teams who are physical with him. He misses way too many wide open shots.
