Steve Stropolo was coaching at Haynes last I heard. He was with Haynes at least the last 3 years.

As an 09 graduate this is disappointing. Place was fun. Coed. No uniforms. First bell wasn’t until 8:40.

Sometimes I wonder what happened to Peter Guadiano

Several of my cousins went there in the 90s. I wonder what the private school of last resort for kids in affluent families in the NOLA metro area will be going forward?

I hate to say it due to my respect for its founder and history, but it's Ecole.

Anyone getting kicked out of Jesuit/Brother Martin is probably going to Rummel these days because they need all the students they can get.

remember it also being a school where boys went to play sports once they realized they wouldn't be able to at a Catholic League school.

Had some good baseball players around the turn of the century that could’ve played anywhere. Bryson Leblanc, Jeremy collins, Brad rodrigue, Brent Rowell

You have no idea what the frick you're talking about... Rummel has been turning down kids the last few years... It's been mentioned every time this subject comes up. Rummel has been keeping their numbers between 650 and 700.. It's what they want.

This old article seems to suggest otherwise.

Of course. No one believes they lost half their enrollment by choice.

M.J. Montgomery and Steve Stropolo (football coach) were great people. M. J. Montgomery must be in or around 90 now and the headmaster thing was in his blood and kept him going.

Several people have spoken well of the headmaster.

He is shutting down a school in 48 hours of notice in mid January, just weeks after saying everything was fine.

That is a spectacular failure.

Nearly every school that offers monthly payments does it through a finance company that basically pays the school up front quarterly. That finance company likely already gave it's money to the school and they are gonna want their money.

Sone of these really small private schools stopped doing the bank loans and just charged monthly. Supposedly because the banks would not make those loans.

Don't these schools generally have a BOT?

If it’s a family owned school, for profit, usually not.

I used to have one of these NOLA family owned schools as a client. It was basically a slush fund for the family. The parents had no idea…
