Yeah it wasn't terrible by all means, just not doing much to advance the plot right now.
The Cid comments could definitely lead to something. Like she might double cross them, but I feel like the bond they're building could cause her to change her ways.
That's what I am thinking. It's setting up storyline where she is going to have to make that decision at an important time to do the right thing or betray them. I'm hoping we start getting into more action starting next week.

I see they added a little girl main character per Kathleen Kennedy mandates. Woman-Wars is still going strong and independent.
The Kaminoans were paid to produce clone replicants of Jango Fett, with enhanced docile/compliance features so they'd follow orders without question, and accelerated aging so they're ready for duty in a couple years (not decades). It's one-size-fits-all, Rex looks like Cody, looks like everyone else.
*They still did need the chip to comply with Order 66, but that's a different thing.
Jango gets one pure clone, Boba, who is unaltered and ages normally, and raises him as his "son".
The Bad Batch are clones with significant deviations from milspec. Crusher is a lot bigger, Hunter has more independent thoughts and is less docile (he's their 'tracker', so I'd say he's very similar to Boba but still with the accelerated aging thing).
Omega is a strange animal in this- she's completely out of spec. First thing, she's female, not the ordered male. No aging mods, no docile temperament. And she's on Kamino, where "humans" are aliens. So she wasn't going to blend in there.
If you didn't actually know what she was, there's ZERO chance you link her to Kamino, ever. It's like Chevy making a motorcycle.
That gives you a ton of potential with "why make her?"
Remember, she's a female clone of a human who was able to give Jedi some issues. Was she intended to become a spy or assassin for the Kaminoans to use against the Republic? She'd be capable of handling normal humans, with Jango's reflexes and coordination (which they do show). She's cute, will likely become an attractive adult, seductive possibilities. Extremely inquisitive nature, quick learner, - a hell of a sleeper agent to put somewhere.
I think we're eventually going to touch on that in this show.
Another thing I'm curious about- we all know the clones are from Jango; but Omega has blonde hair. Gender can be manipulated easily enough, I assume hair color too. But while you might make a different gender on purpose, why change hair also? I know they said Omega is 100% unaltered 1st gen DNA (like Boba), but did they specifically state she is JANGO'S DNA? Or is there a chance there was another donor in the mix? Palpatine maybe, or "Sifo Dyas"?

Disney has made it clear female and other demographics not usually in these types of shows will happen more often. So what the poster said is not far from the truth.
Now onto other items you posted.

In fact, “Bounty Lost” solves the whole mystery. We learn that Omega is actually an unmodified clone created from Jango Fett’s DNA — just like Boba Fett! Even her name ties into Jango Fett’s clone son, who was originally designated the code name “Alpha” before the bounty hunter named him.
So your theory on potential use in the show may not happen the way you are hoping. Maybe you did not watch that episode.

I don't see Ahsoka Tano as that, either.
Now, they're both a demographic that wasn't originally in Star Wars, young females. That's a BIG part of the population, with I'd argue a good bit of spending power (ever try to deny your daughter something ?).
I don't see Ahsoka hurting SW canon moving forward, she's a good fit.
I also don't see Omega as some blatant, offensive insertion, either. They've done a solid job crafting the story.
You basically have the A-Team (a rogue spec-ops squad on the run), who have taken a little girl under their protection, and are trying to raise her. There's room in SW for that type of tale, without calling it woke or anything of the sort.
You CAN make her a Disney 'princess' as you like (and I'm sure they market), or there's still in-universe room to build that character.
Once you get to the Mandalorian timeline, she's early 40's and likely very skilled, and the Bad Batch are a bunch of old men if still alive. I'd say more trained in spec-op stuff than Boba, since that's how she's being raised.

I think the Ashoka story arc is going to be one of the best yet. Looking for to that series.

Boba became a bounty hunter at around her same age. Different skill sets but both very good at what they do in the end.
It will be interesting because I could see her getting a spin off at some point.

Question about season two:
What in the frick were the first six episodes?
They should have just started with episodes seven and eight. Those two were fantastic.

I've loved all of it. I guess the racing episode could have not happened.
Was really cool seeing Commander Kody again still in the empire.

Bro...Kenobi visited Kamino...
The recent two episode drop was great. Filoni does a lot when they get to the episodes that move the SW universe forward

Two great episodes this week.

Outstanding. Without spoiling who it is, when HE showed up because of the call for help, I was very excited.

I knew that garage in Episode 7 was a place we've seen before. I'm always looking for the Easter eggs in these shows.

I binged up to the latest episode. It’s a pretty good season but I wish they’d do more with some of these plants they are placing. Like the Jedi Wookie. Echo’s return will presumably come in the second to last episode

I really enjoyed this week's episode. The beginning had an Alien movie feel to it. Will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Maybe in one of the episodes at the end of the season of Mandalorian? Mando season ends 3 weeks after Bad Batch season finale.

She will most certainly follow the Ahsoka path

It really is starting to surprise me at how arrogant Sidious was during the rise of the empire. You'd think he would start his cloning process, or have already had someone outside of Kamino mastering the process.
He obviously didn't because he believed nobody would ever be powerful enough to defeat/kill him.
It also surprises me that he didn't just let Anakin die on Mustafar, and just reclone him to have him all put together. But maybe he saw that coming and knew he could control Vader after the injuries.

Season 2 finale episodes were fantastic, and gut-wrenching.

I’m glad I saw this thread, we watched episode 15 this afternoon but we didn’t know anything about episode 16.
