Now think of all the hits to the chest in all the sports and the unbelievable rarity of this event.. Then go worry about something more common... like lightening strikes.

I said “As if I needed another reason” mainly eluding to other reasons such as concussions, brain injuries and CTE. Dumb response, no one is arguing this is not a rare event. If you want to argue with my post then argue against all the many safety risks of football as a whole

Not really sure what to make of that...
Mike Brown is resisting the urge to look for loose change on the floor.

Sorry, I couldn’t resist.

Good move by whomever came up with it.

Now hopefully neither Brown or Pegula (old rich white dudes) say something dumb.

Why would health officials at a hospital hold a press conference for a patient ever

Yeah, because that's never happened. Never has there been a press conference from a hospital by doctors after a famous person was injured or killed. Never happened before. Or by the police after a shooting. Just doesn't happen.

It’s a fricking football player, not the president. And the police? You realize that’s totally different right? Or are you that dumb?

much smarter than you, believe me. I don’t equate hospital officials holding press conferences on NFL players to police press conferences

Oh I see, you want to deflect your stance because I decided to incude police press conferences. Tell you what, I will retract that. Let's just go back to hospital press conferences, and we can exclude presidents. Never happens, right?

Another small step toward the NFFL.

7-on-7 or flag football is on the horizon. RIP the big man.

It’s time for bed grandpa.

Your hero worship of football players is clouding your judgment. Sure, show me your exhaustive list. I’ll still tell you it’s fricking stupid if it occurs

Response has nothing to do with the player. I’m reacting to South Tiger being a smarmy dumbass

And you're accusing me of crawfishing? Now you're admitting it occurs.

I'm not crawfishing, just trying to narrow the debate. Both occur, police and hospital press conferences. Regarding people other than presidents. It happened with Kobe, it happens all the time. Hell it happened with some kids no one knows from Idaho. And the fact that ESPN had to make an announcement that there would be no press conference tonight tells you that. I'm done with you.

TD is like nicotine. You know it’s bad for you but every man needs a vice. There are worse choices.
