I don't think so either. He loves DC. My brother has ran into him in circles a few times through mutual acquaintances as both being UVA Law grads.

Kennedy loves him some DC.

Yeah Kennedy has been a republican longer than Trump and he never contributed to Hillary's senate campaign like Trump did.

:rotflmao:

Trump has dozens of entities to make contributions through. He has been a major political contributor to New York politicians for decades.

No matter what some of these “conservatives” posting here tell you, they ultimately just want someone that can go on Fox to own the libs.

Kennedy checks that box

I get your sentiment here and realizing Senator Kennedy is probably not running for Gov., who is your candidate?

This is Louisiana where the State R's are eternally in disarray and conflict. Who can step up and lead us?

Figures, not too many trial attorneys are conservative Republicans. That profession in conservative politics is always a flag with me. We have quite a few in our state legislature in GA and I don’t trust them.

Do you want someone that will play ball with the Marxists?

Or you want someone extremely conservative (aka partisan)?

Ask JBE who is extreme and partisan.

I’m not sure one exists. Decades worth of hemorrhaging the best minds to out of state colleges and employers has left Louisiana drawing from an ever shrinking pool of quality political candidates.

Among other increasing difficulties for the state.

It's good-cop / bad-cop theater and he is one of the more demonstrative performers.

From 1996, when Schumer was running for a House seat, to 2010, Trump donated roughly $9,000 directly to the New York Democrat's campaign, according to Federal Election Commission filings. Three of Trump's children — Eric, Donald Jr., and Ivanka — donated a combined $6,800 to Schumer. Jared Kushner, Ivanka's husband and a top adviser to the president-elect, donated $4,000 to Schumer.

The Republican Party died along time ago and you can thank bush for accelerating that.

He sent my generation to die in a foreign shite hole.

You can still lean conservative and realize Trump isn’t conservative but is much better for the country than a Hillary or Biden regime. Plus the whole let’s not start more wars thing was good.

LA had a Democrat in office for mayor for its two biggest cities, its governor and RINOs in both its US senators. Kennedy talks a big game but he votes like a democrat

I can’t stand fake arse Kennedy and his bullshite. He knows people though. A couple of slick quips on fox news has the masses eating out of his hand. All while he fricks us blind sending our tax dollars overseas. Tax dollars that don’t get audited in any significant way which could easily land back in the pockets of some POS senator.

I'll say this I would prefer if more people left the Democrat party I don't think it should be a are you a Democrat or are you a Republican issue because both parties are filled with criminals it should be based on the persons actions and how they vote.

A lot of Louisiana Republicans were once registered democrats. Did you just wake up and forget the past? Hit your head on something? Very young?

You sound like the people who say the parties just randomly flipped. Kennedy was a Democrat in at least 2004. Like I said, he switched parties so he could get elected to a state wide office. He failed like 3 times as a Democrat trying to do that. Did you hit your head or are you suffering from Alzheimer’s?

A professional candidate doing something politically expedient? This is my shocked face.

Now, I do think this will be politically harmful if he runs for Governor., but forgotten by his next re-election for Senator. Let’s face it, this dude doesn’t have the youth, energy, or ideas required to fix this state.
