Better yet would be a win that prevents a 3-game losing streak & loads of off-season grumbling.

I see what you did there. Well played.

9-5 was referred to in a negative context in the classic country song. Barely getting by.

I think our offense should be fine unless JD rolls out another 80 yard passing clunker. Defense though is missing some key components and short on depth. Hope House has a good game plan and we come out fired up or it will be a dog fight.

Them missing their coach, starting QB, and leading WR should more than offset this.

Looks like QB, Top 2 WR and a starting Guard.

We’re just going to be real shallow on the DL.

Roy opting out is rough. But they did have the 104th rushing offense in the country this season

Didn't UCLA win their division at 6-6, lose the title game and bowl and finish 6-8?

They sure did. The only reason they "won" their division though was because USC still had a postseason ban from the NCAA sanctions. UCLA lost to USC 50-0.

Purdue is in a similar situation. Played really well this season and lost in championship.

Yeah, I think the running game and ball control become even more important. Hopefully, we can sustain some drives and minimize the gassing of our defense.

More importantly, a loss to Purdue ends the season with a 3 game losing streak.

A win and finishing 10-4 gives us some momentum going in to next season.

We hope so, but we really never know until after the game, do we?
