I think it's unethical.
What most business did was raise prices across the board by 4-5% to cover fees. Most fees are like 2.75. It's 3.25% if manually entered. 3.75% Amex manual.
2.75+.15 if online invoiced.

Yes there are fees but charging a fee to cover it is tacky.

Exactly. It’s a cost of doing business. Grow up and adjust your prices accordingly.

They probably did to, then turned around and are hitting you for the few. Like the freight companies pumping rates then hitting you with fuel surcharges

First off, if you’re paying anywhere near that high fees your doing it wrong.

Second, most retailers can’t just raise the cost of products by x% to cover that. If it’s a product people shop price on they can’t do that.
