This is not the narrative. But they have to make decisions best for themselves. Hard to improve draft stock when your QB does not trust you. Writing was on the wall after UGA when they were sucking off Nuss

Nabers takes thinly veiled shots at Daniels in the seccg post game presser.
I’m not suggesting there’s a mutiny but it’s pretty clear there’s frustration there. I’d be shocked if the WR group wanted JD back.

They didn’t fricking come to LSU so Jayden Daniels can hold the ball for 10 years in the pocket and then take off or get sacked.
I don’t blame the wide receiver room for not being particularly pleased with the quarterback at the moment.
