Im not a big fan of it, but you've gotta give KELLY credit for his work there. This year alone- Aaron Anderson, Denver Harris, Paris Shand. And last year......

Why aren’t you a fan of it. People do it every day if they ain’t happy with their job, they look for something better! These kids only sign a scholarship for one year when the sign…They have every right to look for better opportunities just like you do…People let their fandom get in the way of right and wrong…it’s right that they are now able to transfer and wrong for them to be punished in the past when they did.

I was not a big fan at first but the more I think about the positives the more I'm in favor.
The low rated kids out of HS get a chance to experience big time programs.
The former blue chippers get playing time in smaller schools enhancing those programs.
Schools with depleted rosters can start competing immediately.
Seems like a win-win for all involved - except the guys who end up without a landing spot.

It’s supposed to be about getting the opportunity for a higher education covered by a scholarship to represent the school in an athletic arena. When that turned into school being an afterthought and it being all essentially a minor league for the pro’s we lost the essence of college football. A commitment is four years, not one. It’s to an institution, not a coach.

I’m not against transfer portal but should have more restrictions. It also shouldn’t open until the third Monday in January.

And does that same coach have a commitment to that school. For the 99% of them no. They jump at more money and better opportunity so don’t give me that commitment crap.

So decades now?

The schools were not required to commit to more than one year but you want to force the kids to?
BTW there has always been a transfer process, it just meant you had to sit out a year unless it was a grad school transfer.

Do you really think it has been this for most players prior to the recent changes?
Based on what you have posted, you must have hated Joe Burrow.
