Yes, we have other threads about the substance of the ruling. This is a bit different.

I keep seeing this exact language in headlines. The lawsuit was not “thrown out.“ It was adjudicated after an expedited trial on the merits.

Why is the media choosing this inflammatory language? Who benefits? Is it just to create chaos?

Because they can, and they do it so well.

The term thrown out is used to make it look frivolous and for them to look crazy therefore painting MAGA as crazy.

MAGA represents freedom and they can't have that.

So the media lacks credibility in your view? Why then do you shamelessly parrot their talking points?

I really don’t.

The consensus here is that the media and the judiciary are lockstep with the Left.

If that is true, and for purposes of this forum we must assume that to be the case, what is the benefit in the Left-aligned media creating an impression that a Far-Right politician was treated unfairly by the Left-aligned judiciary?

Seems counter-intuitive.

I guess that makes a bit of sense.

Why do you think the language used creates this impression?

In my mind, the term “thrown out“ includes an implication that there was not a full adjudication on the merits.

Maybe that’s just a lawyerly perspective, and I read too much into it.

No, it’s really not, you just wanted to rub noses in it.

Is this your interpretation?

It sounded to me like they were trying to cover for the election “oddities” by making the lawsuit look frivolous.

Nonetheless...frick the goose-steppers.

Merry Christmas Hank.

Nah. Mickey and Boosie took care of that quite adequately.
