This is how they are about to control us all - the start of a social credit score infrastructure in the us

A sign says facial recognition is used as a security measure to ensure safety for guests and employees. Conlon says she posed no threat, but the guards still kicked her out with the explanation that they knew she was an attorney.
"They knew my name before I told them. They knew the firm I was associated with before I told them. And they told me I was not allowed to be there," said Conlon.
Conlon is an associate with the New Jersey based law firm, Davis, Saperstein and Solomon, which for years has been involved in personal injury litigation against a restaurant venue now under the umbrella of MSG Entertainment.
"I don’t practice in New York. I’m not an attorney that works on any cases against MSG," said Conlon

I imagine they'll have a lawsuit on their hands

Walmart may have the most advanced and largest facial recog system in the world.
When you steal from Walmart and they ban you, they BAN you.
This stuff isn't new

So, it’s being abused in this situation.

In highly regulatory states, I definitely see it
quote:
"The liquor license that MSG got requires them to admit members of the public, unless there are people who would be disruptive who constitute a security threat," said Davis. "Taking a mother, separating a mother from her daughter and Girl Scouts she was watching over — and to do it under the pretext of protecting any disclosure of litigation information — is absolutely absurd. The fact they’re using facial recognition to do this is frightening. It’s un-American to do this."
So she doesn't work on MSG lawsuits but her firm does. This will be interesting. I can definitely see an argument, especially if their suits involve things like premises liability/slip and falls.

The state appreciates your work here.

Yes a discussion of private companies is applicable to the state, but...that ship sailed while current Trump voters were defending the Patriot act 15-20 years ago.
This is when I get to say "I told you so" to those hypocrites, baw.
Some of us warned them about this.

Nothing to see here. Just another public/private partnership to erode our rights and freedoms under the guise of safety. Fascist cocksuckers.
The FedGov already has an extensive DNA database of innocent people due to Ancestry and 23AndMe too.

Where is the "public" in this?

I mean the comments make it seem like it's a litigation-related issue and not a safety one.

First choice when googling her name + attorney New Jersey
You don't think that MSG has the ability to scour websites of firms suing it? That it needs the government to do this?

I'm an attorney and have seen dozens of cases where a person gets a trespassing charge from Walmart for going back after they're banned. If you go to any municipal/city court in an area with a Walmart, I bet you would see a case within a few weeks if you sat in for criminal court every session.
