For a 9-year vet, CJ likes to play a lot of iso-ball and dribble until the shot clock is in single digits. He's cost us a few games being a ballhog.

He wants to be THE guy. He never will be. Him holding the ball for more than 10 seconds is always a bad possession

Hard to watch sometimes. He gives up 4-5 possessions a game forcing something stupid. It’s the difference in OT and winning tonight.

without cj we lose in regulation. if you're gonna dish out blame it needs to go towards mostly ingram/med team and the zebras. and ig could make the argument that dyson shouldve played more

Stats say he has 4 turnovers the whole game but I swear it feels like more.

His bad possessions are basically turnovers. Leads to a lot of fast breaks for the other team

But guys he shot 11-25 (44%) for the game. How dare y’all talk about his IQ. Y’all are just upset because he didn’t shoot 25/25.

I’m triggered over such mean words. Y’all are CJ haters and just can’t see the good he does.

there have been plenty of games where cj deserved tons of blame for being arse, but tonight he was mostly fine. he certainly wasn't in the top few reasons as to why we lost

If CJ would turn 5-8 misses into passes BEFORE he takes a wild shot or shoots 5 sec into the shot clock we would prob have an extra 10 pts a game.

And yet you come here only to comment to me instead of just facing the fact that CJ can have decent shooting games and still be a bad decision maker.

Keep being you. Go dig up a stat to show he was really elite tonight.

It wasn’t only CJ in OT. I said it in the game thread, we are 1-4 in OT. Unfortunately, Willie’s been a poor coach thus far in these situations. CJ wasn’t the reason the Jazz were getting 3 and 4 shots each possession. If Willie calls for point Zion, CJ wouldn’t have the ball. There is enough blame to go around, I don’t think this is the time to fully blame CJ.

Never once said we should trade him now…. Just pointing out he’s been underwhelming and mediocre compared to his ceiling and price we are paying for him. Both are true.

How about 42 shots/ 4 assists in 2 games? shite 66 shots/ 11 assists in 3 games. We brought CJ in to play a new role, be a leader, and help control the game/ help our teammates. He is NOT doing those things often or consistently. He’s just taking his shots.

Saying CJ continues to make low IQ decisions isn’t saying “it’s all his fault”.

The funny thing is CJ himself talked about how bad he’s been struggling on his podcast. Even CJ will admit he’s struggling and Shel would argue with him.

And never once did anyone say the nonsense you said above while calling people idiots who didn't say that thing above either.
