The damage is done; the elections are over. They did “get away with it” since “it” was using money obtained fraudulently (allegedly) to influence the outcome of elections.

Wasn't he about to appear before a congressional committee?
The timing is interesting if this is the case. I would say the arrest helps protect him and his public image so that he doesn't get exposed before Congress.
The democrats will still try to protect him and aid and abet him however they can. Keeping him out of sight and giving him the excuse of not being able to discuss the investigation and trial.

His chat group was named “ Wirefraud”, he knew he would get away with it, because he funded the fraudulent elections, payed the actors…. Now, he’s being arrested to hide the details

I truly hope you stay on top of this topic because the DOJ announcing an indictment does not equal "they got him".
He was about to subpoena'd by congress, but now the DOJ gave him cover to not talk. You are so slow on this whole thing cwill. But thanks for trying to protect your betters.

Worthless testimony before Congress that will only be used for gotcha clips posted on social media accounts, or a serious indictment by fedgov?
*ETA: He could have taken the 5th today, IF he even appeared.

Wasn't everyone screaming about him not being arrested, yet, and that was forming the basis of "he's going to get away with it"? Now that he is arrested we're going to complain about the timing? Would you have complained if he was arrested 2 weeks ago?
The book is being thrown at his fricking face and he's going under the jail. His family is likely to be bankrupted by this...basically he has destroyed himself and his family. Considering that the he/they face an existential calamity, if they know anything that could save their skin or reduce the coming dread, I'm sure they'll use it.

Let’s walk through this one… Tax payers get money embezzled to FTX, by Congress funding Ukraine war, Zelenski then buys into FTX, FTX donates 600 million to political “friends”, mainly Dems and Dem pacs….. they are always a step ahead, and enriching themselves, at our expense….

While "worthless" at least you have some Republicans asking questions. The House, on the other hand, would control the line of questioning. Now there is indictment, he can't comment.
