I don't blame anyone for avoiding the game tbh but at this rate Purdue going to stomp LSU with all the opt outs. Not going to be able to field a secondary.

Do you have any links showing that the secondary players entering the draft won’t be playing in the bowl? It’s not an unreasonable assumption, but I thought the early indications on both Ward and Garner were that they intended to play in the bowl game. JBC hasn’t released anything at all, probably because he’s out of eligibility so the draft wasn’t in doubt. I really hope we haven’t reached the point where graduating players opt out of bowls by default.

I mean, Purdue doesn't exactly suck. I don't know what their situation is for the bowl right now but with all our opt outs with a team that already has major depth issues it's not looking good.

I don't. One would assume anyone announcing now is not playing in the bowl game if you're announcing it already. Generally you would wait until the final game before you announce. They probably want to get preparation ready now for training.

No, they don’t suck, but they are pretty much on par with Auburn and A&M. If LSU plays like they did against those teams, they could lose. If they play like they did against the 5 teams on the schedule they beat who are better than Purdue, they should win comfortably. Purdue was 0-2 against currently ranked opponents with 3 losses to unranked teams. That’s mediocre at best.
