frick you, Gregg…
That fricking shooting ability would have been nice in the World Cup… or even that distribution from the front of the midfield. Idiot.

Jordan Morris would have done more

Reporters at the game said he was laboring on the field.
Yeah, he should've played more to potentially give us moments like that. But he is/was clearly not 100%

Clearly. He only played 90 minutes.

What would Gregg have to gain from not playing a healthy Reyna? I can't fathom it so I have to believe he wasn't in tip-top shape.
If Reyna was ok, then leave Gregg on the tarmac.

Confirms it in replies. Cites “sources.”
I guess there was a reason for the lack of minutes. Doyle commented early on that Gio wouldn’t play a large role in the tournament. Guess he knew something was up. Says a lot that the leadership council agreed with Gregg’s assessment of the situation.

That’s weird. I could have sworn Gregg said it was due to tightness in his muscle, and Broski has been repeating Gio isn’t 100%.
So it’s a “rift” issue and Wynalda was correct?

Sounds like a coach trying to protect a player

Or sounds like an insecure control freak who used his own players to peer pressure a teammate for “vibes” sake. You know what gives off good vibes for a team? Goals.
But who knows? Maybe Dortmund has these problems too? Or maybe Reyna asks questions towards a faulty system and gets alienated? Who knows!
But again, I thought it was because of “tightness”?
