Seems like just a rumor for now. But this is at least a media member writing about that possibility with a source close to Payton.

I’m torn.
CSP is a great coach and we’d be better off with him than we are now. He had a very hard job for over 15 years and I understand wanting a break or change.
That being said, it’s hard to come back to the same team after a year. And this team probably would be better long term with a revitalization of new coaching blood.
That being said, CSP gives us a safe and warm feeling of familiarity.
That being said, I 0% expectation he would come back to coach the Saints.

Jeff Duncan also though the Saints were 100% guilty in the alleged "Bountygate". That being said, I will take Payton back in a heartbeat over what we have now.

This is happening quite frequently with more than just sports figures. I know working at all the local hospitals, there tons of good doctors getting out and moving due to the current situation with the city. Mainly Dallas and Houston
