After 5 years, will they depreciate much? Or keep 85% of their value or more.

If/when Broncos get their shite worked out they will. The first few years will not be sought after.

Ford learned how hard it is to build a Wrangler type vehicle.

Gladiators will depend on production numbers. Gladiators make a ton of sense as a 3rd vehicle, but people are buying them to replace trucks rather than a weekend crusier.

Saw Hoovie did another update on his Lightning....woof. Ford came early, but better improve if that is the truth.

Doubt it because it’s not an actual jeep.

It’s just like gladiators. They have their own unique appeal but are not a wrangler

Doubtful-parts are way more plentiful for Wranglers which means although maybe less reliable a lot cheaper to DIY fix yourself

They won’t, they don’t have the following wranglers do, you see this in small trucks with Tacomas keeping their value way better than everything else.

Wranglers didn’t hold their value as until the crazy car market that started a couple of years ago. Similar to the old broncos, 10 years ago they could be had for cheap. All of a sudden they are $30k each

bronco who knows they just came out.
gladiator same as wrangler most likely used ones are pretty damn expensive regardless of mileage

I ordered one new and love it, replaced a full sized truck and don’t miss it a bit

Regular Bronco probably not much. Get something like a Bronco Raptor and it probably will. But I still don’t think it’s enough to offset the 10k markup I was quoted for a Raptor build slot.

Tacomas keep value because they’re indestructible

lol and here’s a jeep guy to disagree. The only reason wranglers held any value over a certain age was because of their utility ability.

And no, generally speaking they weren’t ‘valuable’. I bought wranglers for $5,000. Yes now you can’t really find one for under $15,000. But again, you can’t find a truck for under $15k now either. Among other vehicles.

I’m not sure what ‘value’ you guys thought they had but outside of that shitty off road 3rd vehicle they weren’t very valuable.

They were high as giraffe pussy before the pandemic and shortage.

Not sure why they hold there value the way they do, much better vehicles. My only theory is that while there are much better choices there are very few competitiors. So even though Jeeps leak, drip, struggle and leak they have been holding their values for 15+ years.

In 2012 finding a good TJ for less than a shitty JK was hard, and was going to cost you 10-15K.

I can't explain it, but thinking it is a recent trend is just laughable.

I think the Bronco will. They have a cult following like the Wrangler does, just in smaller numbers. I just sold my 2021 2dr Big Bend last week for $46,500. Paid $38,900 for it. Liked it so much I ordered a more loaded one a few months back. And, definitely wasn't "Junk". Put 10k hard miles on it without issue. Did everything my previous TJ did, from trail riding to deer camp, only with more comfort and power. There was a batch of 2.7 engines built between Sep and Oct of 21 that were recalled but luckily mine wasn't affected. Speaking of junk, my Dad's 2013 Silverado was a complete POS. He finally traded it in on a 2016 F150 with the 2.7 Ecoboost and although I was skeptical at first, he's put a 114k trouble free miles on that thing already. This site is full of "OT Master Mechanics" that will talk shite about any brand. All manufacturers have a boatload of recalls. Just do your research and get what you like.
