This is why we need what would effectively be a free safety every down on offense.

It has a lot of upside, especially if you use someone like Chad Jones. when we aren't throwing, he could get in on blocking, reverses, and maybe even a direct snap or two.

He'll throw more...it's the nature of Crowton's offense. Most of the passes are horizontal or within 15 yards...so when they are picked there is a greater chance the fast guys on offense are behind the play. The defender only really has to avoid OLmen and maybe a RB at times if he's not blocked.

I thought he's thrown 7, not 5. Maybe I'm mistaken.
