What are y’all using to treat fire ant beds. I’ve been using Ortho 6 month broadcast and Orthene powder. In the past the combination worked great but now is less effective. Either the formulations have changed or the ants have adapted. Have tried Amdro also but it has never worked for me. It just seems to move the bed a few feet and they survive. If anyone has something that is effective please share.

Talstar granular or Topchoice if you know someone with a pest license. Advion fire ant bait for mound treatments. A 2 lb advion jug is enough to broadcast spread an acre.
