trust me if you are doing the road to Hana make sure you start early like 7 am early and definitely download this and you won't be sorry. Tells about stops along the way and alot of Maui history, restaurants(there aren't many), waterfalls, etc. Just download the app and when you start your trip play it and enjoy. Shaka app

Eta: Going to be a little stressful especially the one lane bridges and the locals driving crazy but this app plays local music that chills you out and the scenery is amazing.

I've driven the Road to Hana twice and in my experience it's the idiot tourists whom cannot drive that cause the problems. I don't have the want to do it again because of them.
Definitely get started early, especially if you want to try the best ribs on the Island at Braddah Hutts bbq.
