Well, if an armed private security guard ran me off of public waters, I'd be upset as well. Is there a legitimate legal restriction for the area? If so, is private security allowed to force you off or do they have to call law enforcement like all private securities do?

Yes, explosive seismic charges are being detonated and they didn to want anyone to get hurt and sue.

Reading is hard. Explosives. You in the blast area. Understand why they were told to leave?

This happens in lots of places, of course it’s legitimate. Try to go snapper fishing in the LOOP or try to climb on a TWIC platform or drill ship. I don’t understand why everybody is upset about protecting “our waters” you need radar to not hit a wellhead in basically every waterway in the state. It’s not like they are building a refinery in Yosemite here. Seismic work, drilling, pipelines, cavern storage, all this already happens here, like a lot.
