UGA actually had to try and defend the field when Nuss came in

So JDs running ability doesn’t make them defend against that? It’s like some of you don’t even know why coaches love duel threat QBs. It literally means a defensive back (that would normally be in coverage) now has to account for the running threat of the QB.

You’re an idiot, the guy has never rushed for 200 yards in a season, college or Pro and had nearly 100 fewer attempts in his college career than JD had this season. Again you don’t know what you’re talking about as usual.

I would agree in principle but the last 3 games teams have incorporated a spy and we could not take advantage of it. Ark committed two spys to Daniels and he couldnt muster a 100 yds passing plus he couldnt run either.

My personal feeling or eval here is that JD has all the tools necessary to be the #1 Draft pick but his brain does not process the situation fast enough to react to it. Maybe training will help him but he has played 4 seasons...

Did you watch the last three games those teams wanted Daniels to try and beat them throwing they sold out to stop the run and IT WORKED. How do you think teams will play us all next year if Daniels is our Qb and doesn't show vast improvement in the first few games that he can throw the ball over the middle or down the field consistently? His running saved us in some games but unfortunately it kept us one dimensional at the end even against Aggie.

A lot of poster look at a qb to move the defense around and make them pay for it. The shorter the defense has to cover passes or running is to their advantage. So jd5 cannot loosen up the safeties. Therefore they are uptight to stop the run and short passes. Weak teams you can get away with it, but teams that specifically have good talent in the back 7 will stop you every time. You need to be able to back them safeties off the line of scrimmage going forward whether it is JD5 or Nuss. If JD can great if not move over let a qb that can.
