Go get Baker.

Team sucks and there is no juice.

No reason not to.

He's had a hard fall from 2020 where he was pretty good

Surely he's a 49er by lunch

Go look at Baker’s stats for 2022. He’s easily the worst performing qb this year and it is why he was benched. I still can’t believe he has an 18 QBR compared to Dalton’s 51.

After seeing Rap's report this morning, made me think about all of the "Saints need to get ..... to be the QB" and how bad the available QBs this offseason have performed so far. It's almost as if good QBs rarely become available.

Garoppolo: SF was asking for multiple 1sts causing everyone to balk
Watson: Ridiculous contract, where Saints were outbid. TBD if worth it
Mayfield: may have the worst performance of any QB that changed teams this offseason
Wilson: Gave up a lot, and looks like he's hit his wall
Matt Ryan: Saints had no shot at him but looks like a Dollar Tree version of Brees' last year. Can't move the ball downfield with consistency, struggles to get the ball to sidelines on out routes, nowhere near as accurate

Did I miss any board favorites?

At one time I admit I thought this would be a good move also.

Flash forward, We already have Andy Dalton starting and people are pissed.

Imagine going out and signing Mayfield and still having people mad because Dalton is starting.

Time for the Saints to stop throwing good money at bad players.

LOL i just made a thread and realized you beat me to it. But why not? We know he has the ability. What do we have to lose?

I live here in Clt and have seen what he has done to the fanbase here. No point in us going from disappointment to anger.

No he sucks. He’s failed with 2 teams. He needs to get out of football and find something he can actually do well.

Not if we put in a claim… not saying we should but there are a bunch of other teams with higher priority than 49ers

I think his remaining base is less than $2 million.

There are many reasons he is no longer in Cleveland and Carolina. We don’t need to add any more reasons to that list.
