I've been rocking the same Christmas tree stand since 1997. It's always be a pain in my arse to get the tree up and level and it's always made me dread the day.
I decided to upgrade to a Krinner Tree Genie XXL I wish I would have upgraded earlier. This stand took me about 3 minutes to get the tree in and straight. Totally worth the $.

Anyone know why the L is a different shape and the only one with the little feet?

$120 hard pass
I had self-leveling one about 20 years ago.. You connected the tree to testtube shaped thingie that dropped into a base and it floated and when you had the tree level you stepped on a little pedal and it locked it in place.
No idea what happened to it.

Saved for next year. Getting the Christmas tree in the house and leveled is a fight every year. If this can fix that, I'll pay for it

We bought one of those several years ago. It is 100% worth the money.

Gee. Where were you yesterday? I fought the damn one I bought at Ace for an hour before I broke out the drill and hammer to make it work.

I quit having real trees years ago when about 100,000 baby spiders hatched out of the one we had. I hope that doesn't happen to you.

Holds 2.5 gallons and has a pop-up sight gauge that lets you know the water level.
Just the ability to set up the tree completely solo is nice. No help was needed.
