The Republican establishment is executing a plan to undercut Trump.
Suckers here are swallowing the hook.
People who long ago said they were done with the Paul Ryan/Mitch McConnel wing and would never vote for another McCain, Romney or Bush are now all in on the establishment plan to present Trump as non viable.
It is something to behold.

No one has to present Trump as non viable. He isn’t viable as a POTUS candidate anymore.
Anyone who has paid attention to the last two elections can plainly see that he cannot win where he needs to win. Nominating him again will be a mistake, and will result in a loss in 2024.

Correct. Desantis could easily have aligned with Trump against the Paul Ryan crowd but he didn't.
Very disappointing.
There is a huge opportunity for someone to shun the establishment and claim the MAGA throne once Trump is gone.
It was all there for Desantis but he chose poorly. He will never be President.
