Agreed. But you have to admit your MO is to attack the “board” as uneducated twits. What do you think the response will be?

To create a "special exception” (for a former President) "would defy our Nation's foundational principle that our law applies 'to all, without regard to numbers, wealth, or rank.'"
and yet that is EXACTLY the historical precedent. By precedent, the archives works cooperatively with the ex-POTUS regarding materials in possession. Not against him.

Justice is supposed to be blind. Justice is supposed to be evenly meted. Yet, we see no evidence of blind and/or evenly meted with Trump. Instead, we see a weaponized system.

Trump was ridiculously subjected to partisan "lawfare" from the outset of his Presidency. The attacks were demonstrably vituperative, and legal abuses. Now we see what appears to be yet another politically motivated attack by a weaponized DOJ. It's an obscenity of our system.

Your implied indifference to uniquely malignant legal actions singling out one individual for repeated and novel persecution is unbefitting.

Legally, the IRS can audit your tax returns every year. Legally, your local police could pull you over every single morning for some claimed traffic offense. If that happened, a judge could well ignore the obviously weaponized system, and instead claim of your individual case, "creating a special exception would defy our Nation's foundational principle that our law applies to all."

I quoted a news article which in turn quoted a court decision … all while providing no commentary of my own.

They should charge him if he’s guilty of this.

Otto, I bought your story about being an old hippie. I was wrong.

You're simply a left wing authoritarian.

The Democrats are embarrassing.

They claim to love "democracy" yet did everything in their power (including claiming Trump was falsely elected) every day to get him out of office.

Democrats loathe your vote. They hate Democracy. shite, even after he's out of office they want those tax returns because they are still chasing Russian collusion.

You misspelled "Communist".

Of course, CelticDog is too stupid to understand that Communists were more evil than the Nazis.

My God. What has happened to you? You used to be incorrect factually, logically and morally, but you at least wrote something resembling a thought out liberal point.

I understand the term thought out and liberal don't go together but it wasn't just puking half coherent talking points from msnbc.

Now you are nothing but an npc.

quote:

as if Trump never took any docs

This is a total list of a statement.

The president can take and keep personal documents. Yes, even those previously marked as classified because the president is able to declassify documents by a say so.

And as far as which documents are considered personal, we'll the courts have said that is the former Presidents discretion. He can claim anything as a personal document.

So Trump took personal documents from his time in the White House which literally every previous president has done.

And the doj made that a crime.

quote:

seditious co-conspirator.

Now this is just peak level npc tds. I mean this may be worse than Russian collusion.

There is literally no evidence he had anything to do with anything. He told the people to go and peacefully protest.

Comments like this show you have been literally eaten up with tds. I can't for the life of me figure out why.

I mean by most people thoughts, biden is a bad president. If we had a potato in the White House, we would be better off than we are with him, because a potato wouldn't actively screw things up.

But I say let's go Brandon and wait for the Republicans to finally get around to using the democrats own techniques against them to cheat enough so the elections are fair. Equal cheating on both sides balances things out. In a totally ridiculous way it is the best we can hope for.

But I'm not totally eaten up with spite and posting ridiculous half talking points like some liberals are.

Let me remind you about the 2 years of your guy leaving a trail of destruction for the USA that someone else will have to fix. If possible.

But, hey, as long as you can get something on DJT, everything is hunky-dory in your myopic little world.

A seditious co-conspirator?
Really? So ... guilty by accusation ... again.

Like, for example when:

Trump was a "co-conspirator" with Russia in overturning the 2016 "her turn" election?

Trump was a "co-conspirator" in warning Zelensky about folks ("not good people") who did not have Zelensky's or his country's best interests at heart?

Trump was a "co-conspirator" when he requested the national guard be called to assist with crowd control on J6?

Trump was a "co-conspirator" when he insisted Hunter's laptop and "10% (from the CCP) for the Big Guy" was not Russian disinformation?

Trump was a "co-conspirator" suggesting Pence exercise his Constitutional right through a legal loophole to simply not open envelopes containing questionable state elector choices?

At some point you need to recognize TDS for what it is.

How does the saying go?
... Fool CelticDog once shame on them. But fool CelticDog twice, or 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 times shame on CelticDog for being a fool.

Now, now.

You chose to quote a CNN article, by a liberal CNN reporter, with influence of her liberal CNN bias, and you bolded the parts you specifically chose. At best, it approached underlying and consistently malignant persecution of President Trump with complete disregard.

Considering your choice of citation in response to the OP, it certainly implied an indifference to historical lawfare targeting Trump. But feel free to insert your own opinion about the Trump persecution to clarify.

When money, hours, and expertise are tallied, I'm not sure anyone in history has faced something like Trump. Yet to this point, the man is guilty of nothing!
