Is LSU, Texas A&M's biggest rival? 4-7 team, no chance of a bowl game and a packed house

Fans and players were jacked for the game.
Also, I heard an interesting stat: A&M had 3 wins vs top 15 AP, at the time they played.
They are going to be dangerous in the coming years

I did not expect their stadium to be packed like that. Kept waiting for tickets prices to fall.
They’re called a cult for a reason.

I think it is very clear that we are. We are going to get their best shot every time. I think BK now understands this and will have his teams more prepared for that game in the future.

Yup….we made it so with all the talk of fish head coming here.

Since they refuse to play Texas, yeah. Its sad. They are at least 5th on my list of team LSU would consider a rival. I don't like losing to TAMU, but Frick Florida, Ole Miss and Bama. Auburn too. Frick TN

Useless stat. The other two were Miami and Arkansas.

If we are their last game of the season, it will always be an important game. If it is a season that they won't see the postseason, it is their chance to end their season on a positive note.

They're only dangerous when your coach and team failed to do their jobs. That's why LSU lost that game.
Daniels, Kelly, Denbrock, etc. All failed to do their jobs adequately in a game that should have been a smooth win.
I have a feeling we'll see more than a few stupid losses under Kelly. His offense is never good enough to overcome a bad defensive game. He runs a terrible offense.

Packed house? Announced ticket sales were 93,000 in a stadium that holds 102,700... but it was loud

Well I mean there isn’t shite else to do in college station so I’m not surprised the stadium was packed.
Unless all the Aggies wanted to head to Santas Wonderland over the thanksgiving holidays on Saturday, just not a lot happening in that part of Texas.

I heard that the attendance was at 93k which is below the 103k stadium capacity.

Let’s not act like 93k isn’t a large crowd just because the stadium can hold 103k.
Tiger Stadium was pretty sparse for a game against #15 A&M last year even though announced attendance was 91k

I have said this before but I for one like that LSU is a place you have to earn a great atmosphere. Keeps the pressure on the athletic department and the coaching staff to put a quality product on the field. You put a 4-8 product on the field then you don’t deserve to have a full house.

No, that would still be Texas. That classic rivalry will re-emerge in 2025.

Because they stopped playing Texas, we're theirs but they're not ours

All the clowns on here saying they "only had 93K fans" but their stadium holds 103K.

They still do horns down no matter who they are playing and their fight song is all about hating Texas. They are truly the definition of little brother to Texas.

A&M beat LSU and sang about the Univ of Texas
We are not the reason for inferiority complex
Over the last 10 years we have just poured fuel on it
