I lurk and judge. We shouldn’t have even sniffed the CFP

Amazing year but I’m even more amazed at the stupid JD comments. He’s not perfect and yes he doesn’t let it rip sometimes. But who among us thought we’d even have a sniff at this point?

It would have been an unbelievable accomplishment however we are not quite there yet. That being said, this year proved we are very close.

Consider Hendon Hooker in 2021 vs. Hendon Hooker this year.
And then think of what Daniels can do with a second year of quality coaching plus a potential upgrade in the receiving corps (additional development of the returning players PLUS Sampson, Brown and Parker) and everybody returning on the offensive line.

Yea, that's true. What's also true is that we just made the SEC Championship game in a year where we changed every coach barely fielded a team in the winter and weren't expected to win more than 7 games.
Outside of the defensive backfield everyone is coming back besides Ojulari and maybe Roy.

Hooker threw 31 TDs last year. This is a bad comparison.

BUT we did. That’s what’s so disheartening is that it was right in front of us and we didn’t even show up.

Please provide examples of Brian Kelly Quarterbacks who have become Hendon Hooker or Joe Burrow like in their 2nd year. Please show your work and cite references.

People are gonna be mad either way. If we lose to UGA, they'll be mad. If we win, they'll be pissed because they'll realize that, had we not shite the bed against 4&8, we'd be in the playoffs.
